The vitamins and essential fatty acids naturally found in coconut oil nourish the scalp and help to remove sebum build-up from hair follicles. Moreover, to apply this to a DIY treatment, dampen hair and apply coconut oil to your ends, let sit for 15 minutes and then rinse out prior to washing and conditioning.

Cocoa powder is a natural darkening dye. When it comes to dyeing hair, box dyes done at home or at a salon are usually the go-to choice for most women. Have you ever wondered how to make your own hair spray without all the toxins? Sugar spray may be an option for you.  To use this one, heat water to a boil, add 1 tsp of sugar and stir until completely dissolved. Allow the water to cool (this is very important to do) and then add your favorite essential oil to add fragrance. Then, mix ingredients together and pour into a spray bottle. Mist lightly on your hair and let it set for 10-20 secs.
