Rest is essential to your health. This is especially true during COVID-19. If you can, right now is the perfect time to catch up on some much-needed sleep. Sleep supports the proteins and cells of your immune system to detect that destroy pathogens (which essentially are anything that can cause diseases). Also, sleep helps your immune system build resistance against those pathogens. Sleep strengthens your body’s immune response, and at times like these, it’s more important than ever that you are getting enough of it. But, how much do you actually need? According to a recent study, most adults need about 7 hours of sleep per night.  Not only is this important for your health, but also is important for hair growth.

Salmon also contains omega-3 fatty acids, which helps moisturize your scalp and reduce dryness that may lead to hair breakage. Also, omega-3 has been shown to improve white blood cell activity.
